A marriage license was issued last week to Arthur L. Wessels and Opal Taubmann.

Wednesday evening, Dec. 7th, at the home of the bride’s parents in Cresco, Rev. John Gammons united in marriage Miss Opal Taubman and Mr. Arthur Wessels, of Clinton, Ia. The ceremony began at 7 o’clock, the wedding march being played by Miss Nora Barrett, and the couple were attended by Miss Violet Hammond as bridesmaid and John Brenner, of Clinton, as groomsman. Following the ceremony a bounteous repast was served to the assembled guests. The young couple will make their future home in Clinton, where the groom is meeting with much success in the practice of law.

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s maiden name is spelled two different ways.
