RINK—VOLKRING—At St. Joseph’s church, Cresco, Nov. 22, 1904, by Rev. H. J. Loosebrock, Mr. Peter J. Rink and Miss Clara Volkring, both of New Oregon twp.

A quiet little wedding occurred at the home of John Volkering last Tuesday, Nov. 22nd, when Miss Clara Volkering was married with J. P. Rink. Henry Rink, brother of the groom, and Nettle Volkering, the bride’s sister, attended them, and Agnes Kirpach was the flower girl; Miss Katie Theilen played the wedding march. The bride wore a white China silk and the bridesmaid wore a lavender Henrietta, Those who were in attendance and brought presents were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Snyder, table cloth; Ed Booth and wife, Smyrna rug; Peter Rink Jr. and wife, ornamental picture; Adam and Henry Snyder, silver pickle fork; Frank Rink, a ½ doz. silver knives and, forks; John Lundak and wife, ½ doz. silver knives and forks; Mrs. Kirpach, berry dish; Lillian Rink, toilet chamber set; Barbara Schneider, flower vase; Maggie Schneider, jelly dish; Nettie Volkering, table cloth; Chas. Milz and wife, ½ dozen silver knives and forks; Nic Rink and wife, table cloth and water glasses, Henry Rink and wife, flat irons; Gertie and Carl Rink, clothes brush and grater; Jake Baker and wife, center set; Mary Rink a vase; Mrs. Stelmatz, berry set; Ada and Carrie Volkering, pillow shams; Willie and Julius Volkering, two picture frames; John Volkering and wife, household furniture; Katie Thielen, spoon tray; Victory Lundak, center table spread; Jake Rink and wife, set of dinner dishes; Henry Rink, lantern; Huber & Lusson, table cloth; Miss Maggie Rink, flat irons; Fred Rink, one dollar In silver.
