BROWN-JOHNSON
Tuesday evening, June 28th, occurred the marriage of James Monroe Brown and Beatrice Olivia Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Johnson, at their residence in Cresco.
At eight o’clock the wedding guests consisting of relatives and a few intimate friends having assembled in the prettily decorated home, the bridal party made its appearance to the strains of the wedding march played by Clarence Johnson. The bridal couple were attended by Leo Johnson and Miss Alice Swenson. Rev. J. A. Eakin read the marriage service.
After the ceremony the wedding party repaired to their Brown house on High street which has been newly and elegantly furnished for the occupancy of the young couple, and where, like the sensible young people they are, they at once commenced housekeeping.
The young couple are two of Cresco’s most popular and respected young people, and all their friends wish them every anticipated success and joy in their future life.Added by Joy Moore July 10, 2019
