MARRIED.
GLASS-MCALOON.
This morning at 9 o’clock at St Joseph’s church occurred the marriage of Miss Mayme McAloon and Mr. William Glass, Rev. Father Slattery officiating.
The bride was attended by her sister Miss Belle McAloon and the groom by Eugene Mullen of Cresco. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was at the home of the bride’s parents, a small circle of relatives and intimate friends being present
The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. McAloon. She was born in this county and grew to womanhood among our people who esteem her for her many womanly qualities. She is a splendid type of young womanhood and will take to the home which she will grace an air of refinement and comfort which will make it a home in the full meaning of the word.
The groom is spoken of as a young man of good habits and excellent reputation. He is employed in his uncle’s grocery in Cresco, a position which he has held for a number of years. He is to be congratulated on his excellent judgment in coming to Chickasaw county for his life companion.
The Tribune extends its best wishes for a long and happy life for Mr. and Mrs. Glass. New Hampton Tribune.
