COUGHLIN—MULLEN.
Wednesday morning, June 15, 1904, in the Church of the Assumption was the scene of a pretty wedding in which the principals were Wm. T. Coughlin and Margaret Mullen, Rev. Father McCartey celebrating nuptial mass and pronouncing the words which united these young people for life. The bridal couple were attended by Mae Coughlin of Carthage, S. D., a sister of the groom, and Eugene Mullen, brother of the bride.
Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the invited guests at the home of John Mullen, and a reception followed in the evening,
The young couple leave the first of next week for their new home at Carthage, S. D.
Of the young couple little need be said for both are well and favorably known to a large circle of friends in this vicinity. The bride, a daughter of John Mullen was born and reared here and educated in the local schools and is a young lady of intelligence and refinement and fitted in every way to be the presiding genius of a happy home. The groom is no stranger to us, having been employed in the city for several years, and made a reputation for moral and business integrity. He is now engaged in merchandizing at Carthage, S. D., where he has a prosperous business established.
