On the 9th of Feb., 1903 about 35 old friends, relatives and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. John Light united with them to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
They received about $30 worth of presents and money, mostly from their relatives.
All of their children were present except Mr. John E Light of Redlands Cal.
He sent greetings from the Golden State, saying: We, here in California, are the only ones absent but we are very present in our thoughts and affections. God bless and keep you to to{sic} round out the last half of the century together.”
