Married.
BRIERLY—MCPHERSON—At the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McPherson, Mr. Ben Brierly, and Miss Mable McPherson both of Cresco, Rev. Smith of the Baptist church officiating.
The ceremony was performed at 10 o’clock, Wednesday morning, the contracting couple standing in the corner of the parlor, which was tastefully decorated with smilax and pink roses and carnations, a large white rug being used for the bridal couple to stand upon. The rooms were darkened and were also decorated in green and pink, and lighted with candles, giving a very pretty effect to the affair. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Brierly with their invited guests sat down to an elaborate wedding breakfast, which was daintily served by a number of young lady friends of the bride. This estimable young couple have always been residents of Howard county and have a host of friends who all wish them much joy and the best of all that life affords to which the PLAIN DEALER adds their congratulations.
