Married.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at Bonair,Iowa. Thursday evening, Nov. 20, 1902, when Mr. Ernest J. Mosher and Miss Florence E. Buchanan took upon them the vows of holy matrimony. The couple was attended by Mr. Roy Lusk and Miss Alta Bu-chanan, cousins of the bride.
About 100 guests assembled in the church to see the ceremony. Promptly at 8 o’clock the wedding march was played by Mrs. F. A. Paul and the bridal party entered the decorated church and took their places under a large wedding bell suspended over the platform. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. A. Hallett, using the beautiful and impressive ritual of the Methodist Episcopal church. After the ceremony the company returned to the home of the bride’s parents and hearty congratulations and best wishes were bestowed upon the happy couple. When the elaborate wedding supper had been served, the guests were entertained with vocal and instrumental music and recitations. The bride wore a wedding gown of castor colored satin burber trimmed with cream silk and applique, and her attendant wore the same color.
The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Buchanan and the groom is a prosperous young farmer. Both have grown up in this commumunity{sic} and are known by a host of friends who join in wishing them a long and happy life. A beautiful and valuable selection of presents was given the bride, consisting of silver ware, table linen, dished and a pretty desk and book case. The newly wedded couple will live on a farm near Lime Springs.
