Wedding.
There was a very pleasant gathering of about one hundred guests at the hospitable home of Thomas McCook Jr., near Riceville on Tuesday evening, June 17th. The occasion was the marriage of their daughter Maud with Herbert A. Holbrook.
At six o’clock the Wedding March began and the young couple took their place in the corner most artistically decorated for the ceremony. Rev. N. L. Packard spoke the important words and Rev. T. A. Trimble led in prayer. Miss Irwin officiated at the instru-ment.
After congratulations a delicate repast of ice cream and cake was served. The presents were very fine and very numerous.
Herbert Holbrook is an excellent young man and a successful teacher; Maud McCook is dearly loved by a host of friends. Multitudes wish them every joy. They will make their home in Riceville.
