Mr. C. A. Smart, of Medford, this state, and Mrs. Emma Connor, of Cresco, Ia., were married Saturday of last week at Owatonna. Both the bride and groom are well known to Le Roy people who will join with the Independent in wishing them many years of happiness.— LeRoy Independent.

A happy wedding took place Saturday afternoon at four o’clock, March 29th, when Mrs. Emma Ellen Connor, of Cresco, Iowa, and Mr. Charles A. Smart, of Medford, were united in wedlock. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. M. Jamieson at the Methodist parsonage on east Main street in the presence of a small party of friends. The bride is an estimable lady and will make for herself a large number of friends at Medford where they will live. The groom is well known in the northern section of the county. He conducts a general store at Medford where he has lived for several months and enjoys a large custom among the people of that vicinity who hold him in high esteem. The groom was a resident of Cresco, Iowa, before coming to Medford. He many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Smart join in extending hearty congratulations. –Owatonna Chronicle.
