Married.
To-day, Wednesday, March 26,1902, at half past one o’clock, at the residence of the brides’ uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Carver, occurs the marriage of Miss Laura A. Morey and Mr. Frederic Fickin, Rev. C. A. Marshall pronouncing the words in the beautiful ceremony of the Congregational church that will unite these two loving and trusting hearts.
Of the excellent character and true worth of these young people our words are unnecessary. The bride is well known to most of our people, having for some years been a successful teacher in our county schools, and is the possessor of many womanly virtues.
The groom is a rising young farmer of Winnesheik{sic} county and bears the reputation of a shrewd business man of unspotted integrity, who well deserves the good fortune that has befallen him. The couple are happily united and it is the hearty wish of their numerous friends that their sail through the matrimonial sea of life may be one of unalloyed pleasure. They will be at home on the Soltow farm north east of Cresco after April first.—Republican.
