A pleasant home wedding was that of Mr. J. R. Stickney and Miss Emily Luther which occured at the home of Mrs. Eliza M. Beadle, Wednesday, August 15, the marriage ceremony having been rendered by Rev. C. A. Marshall. The bride is one of the lovliest{sic} women of Cresco, educated, accomplished, sensible, the embodiment of the amiable traits of her sainted mother. With the groom we are unacquainted but from what we learn of him he is worthy of the accomplished lady whose heart and hand are his. The happy couple took the noon train west, the day of their marriage.
