Wedding Bells.
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Cecilia church Tuesday morning by the Rev. Father Nolan, Mr. John W. Callahan and Miss Mayme Monica Cashman being the contracting parties.
At nine thirty the wedding party entered the church and as the bride and groom passed up the aisle, Mendelsohn’s Wedding March was delightfully rendered by Miss Maggie Siddall.
Frank Callahan, of Dubuque, a brother of the groom acted as best man and Miss Anna Cashman as bride ’s-maid.
The bride gowned in white silk with a tulle veil, the bride ’s-maid in blue organdy with white silk front and wore a diamond necklace. The groom and best man wore the conventional black.
A reception was tendered by Mr. and Mrs. William Cashman the parents of the bride immediately after the ceremony.
Many beautiful presents show the high esteem in which the young people were held in the community.—

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s first name is spelled two different ways.
