Married.
WOODS— BACHEL.—At the Catholic church, by Rev. Father McCartey, May 2, 1899, Mr. Joseph Woods and Miss Mary Bachel, both of Howard Center township.
The wedding was held at Mr. and Mrs Bachel’s on what was formerly the John Milz homestead, which Mr. Bachel purchased about one year ago, and has changed into a model house. The wedding was a grand and social event, about 200 friends and neighbors being invited to take part in wishing the happy couple many years of happiness and prosperity and to partake of all the good things spread for the wedding dinner, the equal beyond description of the writer, and such as as{sic} Mrs. Bachel and her daughters know well how to prepare. The bride is an accomplished young lady that has gained many friends since she came among us, and Mr. Woods, a fine young man with industrious and sober habits, just the kind of a young man to win such a beautiful bride. The presents were numerous and valuable. The young couple departed for their new home, May 9th at Adrian, Minn.
