Married.
CLEMMER—BROWN.—At the residence of Mr. J. C. Higgins, sixth street and fourth avenue, Minneapolis, Minn., Friday evening, March 3, 1899, by Rev. James Oakey, Dr. J. J. Clemmer of Cresco, Iowa, and Mrs. Jennie Brown of Tacoma, Washington.
They returned to Cresco on the Satusday{sic} evening train and were warmly welcomed by their many friends. Dr. Clemmer has been a resident of the county more than the allotted period of human life, while Mrs. Brown has been a resident of Cresco and of Elma for many years before going west. Both are well and favorably known to our people who unite in wishing a pleasant journey in this new relation.
