Monday evening last was the sixth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Amidon, and a large number of their friends precipitated a surprise upon them in honor of the event. Dancing and social converse occupied the evening, refreshments was served by the hostess. A suitable memento of the occasion in the way of some elegant silverware was presented in behalf of the assembled company by Charles O’Malley.
