HOPPIE—BAUMGARTNER.—At the German Lutheran church at Davis Corners, Wednesday, October 19, 1898, by Rev. C. Niedermeier, Mr. Charles M. Hoppie and Miss Paulina M. Baumgartner.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Baumgartner of Howard center, the groom is from Paris township. The occasion was made one of festivity, a sumptuous repast being furnished for the hundreds of invited guests, who were coming and going !throughout the day. A bowery dance was given in the afternoon and evening to all who wished to participate. The happy and worthy couple were the recipients of many valuable presents.
