MARRIED.
BAKER-STUTE—At the Catholic church at Johnsburg, Mower county, Minn. May 3, 1898, by the Rev. Father Sheir. Mr. Wm. Baker, of Howard county and Miss Augusta Stute, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stute of Mower county.
Only the immediate friends and relatives of the contracting parties attended the marriage. The wedding presents were numerous and consisted of articles of utility and value.
Mr. and Mrs. Baker will commence housekeeping on the farm bought for him from Mr. Hess in New Oregon some three miles south of Cresco. one of the best farms in that township.
The PLAIN DEALER extends its congratulations to the newly married couple with a hope for their future happiness and prosperity.
