Wedding.
Married at St. Cecelia church by Rev. Father Nolan, on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1897, Mr. George Fair and Miss Katie Cashman both of Afton township. Mr. Fair moved onto a farm west of Elma several years ago, coming from Mclntire, where his parents reside. During his residence here he has conducted himself as a gentleman of good habits and manly traits and he enjoys the respect of a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Miss Katie Cashman is the charming daughter of our esteemed citizen John Cashman, and is held in high regard by all who know her as the possessor of many excellent womanly traits and a kind hearted and lovable disposition. An elaborate wedding reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents after the ceremony, in which a host of friends and well wishers participated. The presents were numerous and valuable. The News-Register joins in wishing the young couple a prosperous and happy wedded life,—Elma News-Register.
The PLAIN DEALER unites heartily in good wishes for the newly wedded, and can endorse all that our contemporary says of them.
