Marriage liceses{sic} have recently been issued to Lester Bleckley and Cora Ames, Jos. Prochaska and Barbara Martinek, Conrad W. Thoma and Martha Pribe, Louie Shores and Mary Chyle, Lester VanHouse and Rosa Markovetz, Herman Piehn and Emma Walters, Andrew Foss and Lena Ellingson.

“The merry wedding bolls will soon be ringing. Louis Shores son of Frank Shores, Sr., will be married to Miss Mary Chyle, daughter of our city mayor, next Tuesday, Oct. 5th. The writer wishes the young couple many years of happiness, may their journey along life's pathway be strewn with roses."
