Iowa Plain Dealer April 2, 1897, FP, C5

Married.
COOLEY-DELANGE—At the residence of the bride’s parents, in Albion township, Wednesday, March 31st., by Rev. O. H. Holmes, Mr. John A. Cooley and Miss Isabella M. DeLange.
The wedding occured{sic} at 10 a. m., and was witnessed only by the relatives and intimate friends of the contracting parties. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. I. DeLange, and, though unacquainted with the bride, we are assured that the training and example of her parents will fit her for a worthy wife and helpmate for her husband. The groom is a brother of Mrs. J. C. Livingstone, and is quite well acquainted and liked by numerous acquaintances here, where he was a resident for some time. At present he is a fireman on the C. M. & St. Paul, with headquarters at Dubuque, where the young couple will make their future home and for which place they left on the 2:25 train the afternoon of their wedding day. The PEE DEE extends its heartiest congratulations.
