On Friday, Feb., 26, was the 40th anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Darrow and in commemoration of the event about fifty relatives, neighbors and friends participated in a surprise party on the aged couple. It was a complete surprise and was highly enjoyed by all. The guests before leaving presented the couple with a number of valuable articles as mementos of the occasion.
