Last Thursday occurred the wedding of Miss Lizzie eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Walter to Mr. John Keune. The marriage sermon was preached by Eider J. D. Bohen, who preached a very practical and fitting sermon, being assisted by Elder Sassman of Belmond, and Elder Harkness. The services were held in the Zion Evangelical church, which was crowded to its utmost with invited friends and relations from Protivin, Cresco, Ridgeway, Big Springs, Locust. Belmond and from far and near. The marriage ceremony took place underneath the bell, and was conducted by the pastor, Elder J. D. Bohen. The presents were very costly and numerous. May God grant this young couple his choice guidance through life, is the wish and prayer of their many friends.
