HALWEG—VAGTS—At the German Lutheran church at Davis Corners, Iowa, on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1896, by Rev. Chr. Niedermeir, Mr. Chas. T. Halweg and Miss Lena Vagts.
The ceremony occured at 11 a. m. in the neat little church which was beautifully decorated with flowers and plants for the occasion.
After the ceremony, the concourse repaired to the home of the bride’s father where a beautiful repast awaited them and the balance of the day was spent in dancing and merrymaking till well along towards morning. The F. F. F. orchestra and band of this place furnished the music for the occasion.
The PLAIN- DEALER wishes its young friends so happily united a full measure of happiness and a long useful and well-spent life.
