An Oak Dale Wedding.
The 19th of November dawned upon the happy event of the marriage of Nora L., daughter of Mr. C. Pendergast, to Mr. Thomas J. Duggan, one of Coon Rapids most worthy citizens.
At nine o’clock Tuesday morning, the happy couple approached the altar of St. Agnes church, Riceville, Iowa, where they were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. J. O'Brien officiating, and Sarah and James Pendergast acting as bridesmaid and groomsman. Then all departed to the home of the bride where was spread a bountiful feast of which about eighty rejoicing friends partook.
The bride received many beautiful presents from a wide circle of friends and relatives.
The happy couple departed for their future home in Coon Rapids, Iowa, accompanied by the Misses Doran, Annie and Maggie, who attended the wedding and are cousins of the bride, They carry with them the best wishes of their many friends.
