At the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Lourdes at 9 o’clock nuptial high mass on Tuesday, Feb. 10, Father Norris joined James Shatek, of Saginaw, Michigan, and Miss Anna Shatek, of Lourdes, in the holy bonds of matrimony.
The bride was lovely in a gown of white silk messaline with silk overnet. A bridal veil and wreath of orange blossoms completed a beautiful toilette. She was attended by Emma Koshatka, who was gowned in white serge. The groom and his best man, Joseph Shatek, a brother of the bride, was attired in blue serge.
The bride is a popular young lady of a sweet and lovely disposition, with a wide acquaintance about Lourdes, having lived there since a child. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shatek, of Saginaw, Mich., and is well known about Lourdes as a young man of sterling qualities who is worthy in every way to be intrusted with the charming girl he has won for his bride. The young couple will commence housekeeping on a farm near Elma, with the hearty congratulations and good wishes of a host of friends.
