The marriage of Mr. John E. Peters, of Le Roy, Minn., and Miss Cecelia M. Daley, of Cogswell, N D., was solemnized at Our Lady of Mercy church, by Rev. Father McCardle at 8 o'clock a. m., Feb. 3, 1914. The bridal party was attended by Miss Sadie Peters, sister of the groom, and Mr. Thomas Daley, brother of the bride. The bride was gowned in tan messaline, trimmed with shadow-lace, with hat to match and carried bride’s roses. The bridesmaid wore tan whipcord, with I Persian trimming and carried pink roses. The groom and best man were dressed in conventional black. A four course wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents to the immediate family and a few outside friends.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Daley and is a highly respected young lady. The groom is the only son of Mrs. Mary Peters and is a prosperous Iowa farmer. Mr. and Mrs. Peters will make their home on the groom’s farm in Oak Dale, after a short wedding tour to Minot and the Twin Cities.
