At eleven o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of the bride's parents, occurred the quiet wedding of Miss Jennie Smith, of this place, and Dr. F. C. Wood, of Iron River, Wis. The newly wedded couple took the noon train for the north and will spend their honey moon at points in Wisconsin, Minnesota and at Chicago. Miss Smith is one of our most highly esteemed young ladies, and while we know nothing personally of the groom he is very warmly spoken of by those who have the pleasure of his acquaintance. We bespeak a happy future for the young couple and join their many friends in wishing them a successful journey thro' life.
