A pleasant company of invited guests was in waiting at the church.

Promtly{sp} at the appointed time the bride and groom took their places accompanied by the Bridesmaid. Miss Overfield, and Bride’s-groom Mr. Patterson of Hawkeye, where they were to take the vows which were to unite them for life. The brief but impressive ceremony finished, the happy pair was presented to the company who responded with hearty congratulations. It was truly a happy occasion and was enjoyed by all.

Rev. Dwello and wife are well known in this vicinity, he having served as pastor of the M. E. Church here for the past three years and she as teacher in the public schools for a number of years. Both were energetic and painstaking in their work and had the universal respect and confidence of the people. The best wishes of many here go with them as they together undertake the voyage of life.—Elma News.
