MARRIED--at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Johnson of Chester, Miss Birdie Johnson to Mr. W. A. Nye of Salem, South Dakota, Rev. Bouland D. Smith officiating. Miss Johnson will be remembered by many as one of Howard county's best teachers, and we are sorry to loose her. But what is our loss will be Dakota's gain. Mr. Nye will be remembered as one of Howard county's best young men, who went to Salem, Dakota about 14 years ago and opened up a farm in McCook county, and as soon as the railroad came through he opened a drug store at Salem, and is now one of the solid young men of South Dakota. They are both to be congratulated on their choice of companionship for life's journey.
