Iowa Plain Dealer February 25, 1892, P3 C3

MARRIED.

BAILEY—DAUGHENBAUGH.—At the M. E. Church in Jennings, La., on Thursday, Feb. 4, 1892, at 6:30 p.m., by Rev. Woodson, Geo. A. Bailey and Miss Carrie Daughenbaugh.

The church was filled at the hour with those bidden to the marriage, Mrs. Childs played a beautiful wedding march. H. I. Daughenbaugh, the bride’s brother, and Miss Bailey, cousin of the groom, were attendants. When the ceremony was concluded a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parent’s, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Daughenbaugh.

The bride’s dress was a beautiful cream surah silk. The groom wore a suit of dark brown, with 3-button cutaway coat. The bride is well known in this community a young lady of culture and refined tastes; while the groom is known by all as a worthy young man of industrious habits, and is well situated, being an equal partner in the store of Bailey & Daughenbaugh, at Cartville. The happy couple will make their home at that place. We wish them all the happiness possibly to be found in married life, and hope the bright prospects amid which they embark upon the voyage will bear out their expectations.—Herald, Lake Arthur, Louisiana.

They were remembered by their friends with many valuable presents, which for want of space we omit.
