Sunday morning Mr. Arthur E. Peckham and Miss Addie F. Daskam of Iowa alighted from a carriage in front of the Benedict House. The team was given in charge of Mr. Strong. After conducting his lady companion to the parlor, Mr. Peckham hastened to the office of the clerk of the district court, obtained a marriage license, sent it to Rev. Raveill with a fee for his services which could not be had until after the morning sermon had been delivered; meanwhile the anticipating bride and groom enjoyed a hearty dinner at the conclusion of which the minister arrived and joined them tightly in hymen's knot. There was no evikence{sp} of foolish expenditure in wedding robes, but in richness of conjugal affection there was no apparent lack. Monday morning the high contracting parties started homeward all aglow with happiness. Thus ended the first lesson.--National Republican, Preston, Minn.
