Married.

POWERS--STOWELL--In the Catholic Church in Cresco, Iowa, Feb. 20, 1889, by the Rev. Father McCarty, Edward L. Powers of Flandreau, Dak., and Mary C. Stowell of Cresco.

The newly married couple took the west bound morning train for Minneapolis, thence to Flandreau, where Mr. Powers is engaged in practicing law. The bride was one of the school girls of the Academy of the Assumption, and a general favorite with her school companions, who unite in wishing her cup of happiness full to overflowing.
