MARRIED.

YOUNG—KELLOW.—At the home of the bride’s parents near Cresco, Dec. 25, 1888, by the Rev. F. M. Coleman, E. A. Young of St. Paul, Minn., and Miss M. L. Kellow of Cresco.

Mr. Young is a brother of H. W. Young, cashier of the Bank of Cresco, and is well and favorably known by many of our Cresco people.

Miss Kellow is one of Cresco’s most highly esteemed and attractive young ladies.

The following list of presents were given:

Elegant cream silk crepe double shawl – Wm. Rawle of Toledo, O.
Set china dishes – Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kellow Jr
Cathedral bell clock, pair of gold bracelets, beautiful set of furs and a Rhine stone comb from the Groom.
Gold and silver cream spoon – Miss Helen Gill.
Silver nut crack and picks – Miss Anna Gill.
Butter knife and cream spoon – Miss Melinda Barker.
Silver and crystal syrup cup and pair of linen towels – Mr. and Mrs. Collins.
Silver butter dish – Gordon McNamara, Geo. Henry, Misses Sue Powell, Lizzie McNamara and Mary Hamilton.
Crystal and silver berry dish – Miss Lelia Marshall.
George Elliot’s works – R. G. Young, Waterloo, Ia.
Crystal water set – Mr. and Mrs. Estes, Medalia, Minn.
Silver dinner gong on standard – F. Dove, Maquoketa, Ia.

The wedding was a most pleasant but quiet affair, the company being of the nearest relatives, except four or five of the most intimate friends. Mr. and Mrs. Young go for a short visit to his father’s in Colesburg, Ia., before going to their home in St. Paul.
