MARRIED.

POTTER--THOMPSON.--A the residence of the bride's parents in Cresco, Monday evening, July 2, 1883, by the Rev. Alex. S. McConnell, Mr. C. R. Potter, of Osage, Iowa, and Miss Effie Thompson, oldest daughter of our townsman, James Thompson.

The happy couple took their departure for Osage on Wednesday, where Chant is employed in a meat market and will make that place their home. May there never be an ingredient of sorrow in their cup of matrimonial bliss, and the crown of wedded life be theirs hereafter.
