Mrs. Julia Fetterman

NEW LONDON - Mrs. Julia Sophia Fetterman, 73, died in Memorial hospital, Mount Pleasant at 12:15 a.m. Feb. 2, one hour after being admitted to the hospital.

The daughter of Reuben Roberts and Rachel Ann Hall Porter, Mrs. Fetterman was born on a farm near Lowell on June 19, 1880. She was married at Lowell to Silas E. Fetterman on March 1, 1900. He died Jan. 5, 1940.

Mrs. Fetterman was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are a son, R.D. Fetterman, New London; half-brother, Will Grinstead, Cameron, Mo., and one granddaughter.

Service will be held at the Elliot Chapel at 3 p.m. Thursday. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul M. McDade, pastor of the Methodist church assisted by the Rev. Eldon E. Seamans, pastor of the Presbyterian church.

Burial will be in Jaggar Cemetery.
