Edna Church rites Saturday

MT. PLEASANT - Edna Church, 94, a former Prairie community resident, died at 10 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Care Manor in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Round Prairie Baptist Church south of Lockridge with burial in Glasgow Cemetery. Friends may call as they desire after 7 p.m. this evening at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial has been established to the Round Prairie Baptist to the Round Prairie Baptist Church.

Mrs. Church was born April 4, 1888 at Glasgow, the daughter of Albert and Ida Durke Williamson. On Jan. 1, 1913 she married Wright Church at Glasgow. He died July 23, 1974. She was a member of Round Prairie Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Harold of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons; three great-grandsons and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
