New London, Ia-The funeral for the late Mrs. S. Lewis was held Tuesday afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. L. DeLang, west of this city. Elizabeth Walter was born in Henry County, Iowa, October 9, 1836, and has resided continuously over since. She was united in marriage to S. Lewis in January, 1867. She is survived by her husband, one brother, and three children, Mrs. W.L. Gerber, of Ft. Madison; W.M. Lewis, of Fairbury, Neb., and Mrs. E.L. DeLang, of this city, and one brother, W.E. Walter, of York, Neb. Her illness was of short duration.
