John E. Brown Funeral Rites
Services Held At St. Alphonsus Catholic Church This Morning

Funeral services for John E. Brown who died at his home on South White street Saturday morning were conducted at the St. Alphonsus Catholic church this morning with the Rev. Father M.T. Gaffney in charge.
Assisting were the Rev. Father Adams of Houghton, the Rev. Father Sindbuchler of St. Paul, the Rev. Father Courtney of Ottumwa, and the Rev. Father Corcoran of Washington.
Following the rites at the church, the burial took place in the cemetery. Pallbearers were Hugh Powers, Dan Slattery, John Fitzpatrick, James Bresnahan, Charles Gentile and Charles O'Connor.
