Myrtle Wenger was born in Henry County, Iowa March 21, 1889 and died Monday, November 12, 1906 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob G. Wenger, east of Wayland. The cause of her death was typhoid which developed from a malarial condition from which she had suffered all fall. Funeral services were held at Sugar Creek church Wednesday afternoon, November 14, conducted by Rev. Gerig, assisted by Rev. S. M. Musselman, and interment was in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
