Mrs. Myron Caris
MOUNT PLEASANT – A life resident of Henry County, Mrs. Myron C. Caris, 95, died at Memorial hospital Sunday night following an extended illness. The former Lovica Holland, she was the daughter of James and Cynthia Spearman Holland, and was born Jan. 11, 1861. Thirty-six years ago she moved to 300 n. Adams in Mt. Pleasant, where she lived up to her death. She was the last survivor of a pioneer family of Henry County. The husband, Myron C. Caris preceded her in death in 1928.
Two daughters, Mrs Ralph Ward, Mt Pleasant, and Mrs. Lloyd Spooner, Dallas, Tex., survive; as do two grandchildren.
Interment will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery following services at Crane funeral home at 2:30 p.m.. Dr. James Martin of First Methodist church will officiate.
