M. Dougherty, 94, Taken By Death
Martin Dougherty, 94, died at Memorial hospital Sunday evening after an illness of the past several months.
The son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Tucker) Dougherty, he was born Oct. 18, 1863, in Henry county. During his working years, he was engaged in farming. He was never married.
Mr. Dougherty is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mary Holley of Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Fred Edwards of Casper, Wyo.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Suzie Dougherty of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with the Rev. John Manning, pastor of the church, officiating.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Crane's Funeral Home.
