Charlotte I. Scott, 84, of rural Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
A graveside funeral will be held at a later date at Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Visitation is noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Kimzey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. No family visitation is planned. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County 4-H Program.

Mrs. Scott was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Lester and Mary Ruth Jaggard Felgar. She married William George "Bill" Scott Jan. 15, 1951, in Waterloo. He died June 28, 2010.
She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1948 and attended Iowa Wesleyan College.
She worked as an operator for the telephone company in Mt. Pleasant in the early 1950's.
She was a homemaker and farmer, joining her husband in nearly all aspects of their farming operation.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
She belonged to TTT Founders Chapter of Mt. Pleasant, Order of the Eastern Star New London Chapter No. 440 and Daughters of the Nile Pyramid Temple No. 10.
She was an active member of the Henry County Farm Bureau, serving as president and in nearly all the other offices as well as on several committees of Farm Bureau.
She and her husband were named Henry County Cattlemen of the Year in 2001.
She loved to travel. She went on many trips and cruises with her husband, some just for pleasure and some to tend to the business of the organizations to which she belonged. Her trips allowed her to visit many countries over the years.
Survivors include one son, John Scott and spouse Marilyn of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Edd Felgar of Fairfield; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Felgar.
