Death Takes William Kurns

William Kurns, 83, resident of Rome, died at his home Thursday evening about 5 p.m.

The son of Bernard and Clara Kurns, he was born December 12, 1883 in Jefferson county.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter, William Jr. of Rome, David of Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. Eva Forbes of Shellsburg, Ia.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 8, at 3 p.m. at Grant Cemetery in Rome. Rev. Robert McElderry, pastor of the Lockridge Baptist Church, will officiate.

Friends may call at eh Crane, Ewart, Young Funeral Home as they desire.
