MRS. ELSYE SATER

Mrs. Elsye Tash Sater, 406 S. Jackson, died at 5:15 a.m. Monday morning, May 20, 1974, in Henry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Mt. Ayr, the daughter of Rollin and Celeste Mann Woodworth.

She was married to Edgar R. Sater in Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving is a niece, Mrs. A.H. Myers of Kansas City, Mo.

Her husband, one sister and parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sater, a retired teacher, taught in Morningside College, Sioux City, and in Virginia College, Richmond Va. She was a professor emeritus at Iowa Wesleyan.

She was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, the Republican Woman's Club and the Illinois Press Women's Association.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Dr. Louis Haselmayer will officiate with interment in Forest Home Cemetery.

Friends may call as they desire at the Weir-Cookes Funeral Home. Those who wish may contribute to a memorial to the St. Michael's Episcopal Church in memory of Mrs. Sater.
