R. Kitchen Rites Today

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Rites were held at 2 p.m. today in Mount Pleasant for Ruth Ann Millspaugh Kitchen, 43, who died Saturday at the New London Care Center.

Services were held at the Beatty Funeral Home with burial in Grant Cemetery at Rome.

Ruth Ann Millspaugh was born Jan. 5, 1935, near Lockridge, the daughter of William and Florence White Millspaugh. She was married to Carroll Kitchen at LaHarp, Ill., where she made her home for a number of years.

Survivors include her mother who resides on Route 3, Mount Pleasant; two daughters, Mrs. Susan Phillips, Niota, Ill., and Mrs. Kimberly Savage, LaHarp; two sons, Dean and Gene Kitchen, both of Bladensville, Ill.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Willis and Mary Millspaugh, both of Mount Pleasant; and a brother, Mike Millspaugh, Mount Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother. Memorials have been established to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
