Lloyd E. Septer

Lloyd E. Septer, 55, of Salem, died Saturday, May 2, at 3 p.m. in his home.

He was born April 11, 1915, near Salem, the son of John and Mary Ann Murphy Septer. April 3, 1937, he married Doris Williamson at Kahoka, Mo. Mr. Septer was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving are his wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. Wayne Harvey of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Don Simmons and Janice Septer, both of Salem; 2 sons, Ernest and Ronald, both of Mt. Pleasant; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Charles Watson and Mrs. Carroll Cook, both of Salem, and Mrs. Virgil Elliott, Mt. Union; and 7 brothers, Paul of Montezuma, Roy and Pearl of Salem, Orville of Trenton, Mo., Arthur of Dixon, Mo., Wayne of Mt. Sterling and Harold of Ft. Dodge.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the first Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Peter Siemons and Rev. Waylen Brown officiating. Burial was in Salem East Cemetery. Beatty-Foster Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements.
