Charles Carroll Cooper, 66, 204 N. Broadway St. Lockridge, Ia., died 4/7/98 at
the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa, Ia. Born: 2/20/1932 in Clinton, Mo.
Parents: Harley and Edith Williams Cooper. Married: Dorothy Beyer on 9/26/55 in
Clinton, Mo., She died 9/26/81. Later Married: Margaret Garrels in 1983. Survivors: his
wife; one son, Rick of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; one sister, Phyllis Puckett, and one brother, Glenn
both of Clinton, Mo.; five stepchildren, Gary Garrels of Davis City, Ia. Betty Luzadder,
Dixie Peck, and Patty Richardson, all of Fairfield, Ia., and Gail Garrels of Newton, Ia.;
Preceding him in death are his first wife; parents; two sons, Gordon, in infancy and
Thomas. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery, Lockridge, Ia.
