Mina B. Campbell

Mrs. Mina Belle Campbell, 94, Pleasant Manor Care Center, died Monday, Jan. 27, 1986, at 12:50 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant.

She was born July 21, 1981, in Jefferson County, the daughter of David and Harriet Mofford Murray. On Nov, 26, 1913, in Mt. Pleasant, she married George Ellis Campbell who died May 22, 1959.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of the First United Methodist Church, it's United Methodist Women's March Circle, Golden Rule Sunday School Class, Safety Rebekah Lodge No. 409 of New London, and Past Noble Grand Club. She had served as past president of the Ladies Encampment Auxiliary, Ladies Association of Patriarch, Daughters of Union Veterans Tent No. 34, East Side Mothers Club and Senior Citizens.

Surviving are one son, Robert M., and one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis L. Hendricks, both of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Her parents, one daughter, Virginia, and one sister, Lillian Airhood, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan 29, at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ronald Kramer, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate with interment in Forest Home Cemetery.

Friends may call as they desire at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the First Methodist Church after the committal services.

A memorial has been established for her church.
