Mrs. Zion Messer Rites Set Tuesday, Which Would Have Been 72nd Birthday

Mt Pleasant, la., Oct. 24—Mrs. Zion Messer, who would have been 72 years old Tuesday, died at her home near Rome Sunday at 1:45 a. m. She is survived by five children, Orville at home, Josephus and Leo of near Rome; Mrs. Ed Sammons of Rome and Mrs. Otho Myers, south of Mt. Pleasant. Her husband died Dec. 4, 1937. Funeral services will be held at White Oak church, four miles north of Rome, Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at White Oak cemetery.
